What to do when you don’t know what to do

When bereft of knowledge -have you been there?- I think most of us have, and we wonder what’s best, what to do next.

How comforting (when in the midst of that kind of situation) to know, if we have been practicing Proverbs 2, along with James 1:5, we may rest our situation in the presence of wisdom and we won’t be denied or chastised. He will generously give the solution. If we have not been practicing regularly, His mercy will still come to the rescue, for His own glory, and ultimately for our good and the sake of His kingdom. It’s best to be prepared if or when the worst happens.

“… better to build a fence around the cliff than count on an ambulance down at the bottom.”

Joseph Malins
